Angel's Overlook is a 3-bedroom luxury cabin in the Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee, part of the private Summit Ridge Resort community in Sevier County. With three en-suite bedrooms sleeping up to 12 guests, it's the most intimate of the Summit Ridge properties — ideal for families, small groups, and multi-couple getaways who want a premium cabin experience without the scale of a full resort rental. Just 16 miles from downtown Gatlinburg, 11 miles from Pigeon Forge, and 12 miles from Dollywood.
The cabin is laid out for a group that wants to be together. The fully equipped kitchen and dining room are built for real meals, and the living room — gas fireplace, plush seating, mountain views just outside — is where the evenings end up. Step out onto the covered porch and the Smoky Mountains stretch out in front of you. Guests come back year after year, and it's easy to see why.
When it's time to stay in, Angel's Overlook punches well above its size. The outdoor hot tub overlooks the ridgeline, the dedicated home theater is ready for movie nights, and the indoor shuffleboard table and vintage 1980s arcade cabinet — Donkey Kong, Frogger, Ms. Pac-Man, Galaga — keep things going as long as the group wants.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Arrangements:
Bedroom 1 — King, patio, Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower
Bedroom 2 — King, balcony, Jacuzzi tub, walk-in shower
Bedroom 3 — 2 full-over-full bunk beds, balcony, shower/tub combo
Additional sleeping via queen sleeper sofas in the living room and theater room
Angel's Overlook is one of three cabins within Summit Ridge Resort. Its neighbors — Heaven's Window (5 bedrooms, sleeps 20) and Serenity Sanctuary (5 bedrooms, sleeps 20) — can be booked alongside Angel's Overlook to accommodate groups of up to 56 guests across 13 bedrooms. Weddings and private events are welcome with prior approval.
The Smoky Mountains are at your doorstep. Great Smoky Mountains National Park — the most visited national park in the country — is just 16 miles away, with hundreds of miles of hiking trails, mountain trout fishing, and wildlife year-round. The cabin sits near Dolly Parton's childhood homestead, a piece of Tennessee history woven into the fabric of this corner of the Smokies. When you're ready for a change of pace, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge are minutes away with dining, live entertainment, and shopping.
